Malaysia consists of many ethic groups, the Malays, Chinese, Indians, Eurasians, Punjabi, Baba Nyonya, Iban, Kadazan, Kelabit, and Bidayuh, are just some of them.
There are just so much to choose from, whether traditional or modern cuisines, deem to satisfy the choosiest tastes buds. The main food in Malaysia is rice, just like the other Asian countries. Due to its sunny weather all year round, fruits and vegetables are in abundance while meat, poultry and seafood is inexpensive and readily available. Malaysian food, just like its people, is divided into Malay, Chinese and Indian and is still prepared by their own unique ways. Each of them has its own preferred flavours and reflected in the ingredients found in their individual cuisine.

It is proven that Malaysians are eating way too much. One of the causes is because food is available 24 hours in every place such as Mac Donald’s and some other fast food restaurants which will lead to obesity. The National Health and Morbidity Survey (NHMS 2011) showed 2.6 million adults were obese, while more than 477,000 below 18 were overweight.  Parents work long hours and they don't keep an eye on what their children are eating. Children often bought candy or drinks with high sugar content after school. A big health issue related to the burgeoning obesity in the country is diabetes. The thing with diabetes is there are no symptoms. By the time a person realized he has it, it's too late.

There was no shortcut to a healthy lifestyle. One should get their healthy diet tips on and start following it. Adding that it is important to eat meals on time. It is better to eat at home rather than eating out because eating at home enables us to control the amount of salt, sugar and oil usages. Skipping breakfast may also lead to obesity. Emotional eating, eating during other activities and also eating late at night should be reduced or prevent.
In my opinion Malaysia should have health programs in every school to educate our generation on ways to overcome bad eating habits.

As an advice, Malaysians can consult the professionals like health counselor to get tips on overcoming food disease and to follow healthy lifestyles indeed.

SAMAD SAZALI also known as the Iron Man of Malaysia (orang besi malaysia). He has been an inspiration to many Malaysia's. His hard work and dedication in the sport of bodybuilding has not only brought achievements to himself but also to the country. Mr Samad Sazali has won many prestige bodybuilding competition's such as the Mr universe, IFBB Arnold Classic Bodybuilding, Fitness And Figure and many more. He has truly been an inspiration to many gym goers.
Mr Samad Sazali

As the Minister of youth and sports in Malaysia i would like to make more gym's all around Malaysia the fees of these gym will be minimal approximately RM 3 per entry as no profit will be made from these gym's all the money made will be used to maintain the equipment. This does not mean that the gym will be undergraded. These gyms will be equipped with quality equipments that will guaranteed to satisfy the users.

Small and quality gym.
These gym's can easily be built as all profit in the future will be used to build more gym's and equipment. Not only that, the government has also allocated RM 738 million towards the youth and sports community. The building of these fitness centre's would firstly encourage people to start exercising as "Malaysia is the fattest country in South-East Asia with its obesity rate on the rise" says Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai. This would help curb the rise in obesity in Malaysia. Next, these gym's can also change life's of people. For example, it may make a person more dedicated and disciplined. Not only that, Bodybuilding will improve your self confidence immensely. You will walk around feeling strong and good about how you look. When you look in the mirror and are happy with what you see, you feel so awesome and confident. Just walking down the halls at school knowing everyone is looking at you is an awesome feeling. Stress is currently the problem adults face now days and one of the effective way of releasing stress is by exercising.

Motivational quotes

These gym's not only effect the person in terms of personality or physical appearance but will also give some people job opportunity. The demand of personal trainers, dietitians and gym managers will increase. There will also be a rise in new companies. For example, the supplement industries play a huge role when there's bodybuilding or fitness involved. Therefore, Malaysia can also start producing their own supplements such as the 1Malaysia protein. This will not only benefit the customers but it will also spread and publicize the 1Malaysia stores and products.
