Multimedia & Communication - Learning

Lack of awareness is a major problem for many academic staff who may not be fully exposed to the educational potential of IT. They do not have reliable access to suitable lecture theatre facilities or sufficient comfort to feel better with the facilities available. The usage of IT has become more and more common and this may be an additional incentive to staff to use presentation technology.
For instance, awareness should be created among special children and the elderly. Special children in special schools should be given a chance to feel the advanced technology and through this way, they would be no longer called illiterate. Gadgets such as iPads and tablets should be encouraged by schools in order for children to get exposed to the modern technology, it would be a whole new and a fun learning experience.  It definitely saves a whole lot of time with these modern gadgets and together, we save paper! Many students carrying way too much weight on their backs and the iPad essentially removes that weight by combining books, notes and papers into a slim device.

Students in the western countries use iPad as a learning tool.
IT classes for the senior citizens too should be conducted, this way they would not feel left out from the developing multimedia world. Price for the classes should be reasonable, as well. With this kind of courses around, they would be able to speak to their children over their iPads, rather than making a phone call or writing a letter if their child is in abroad, studying. This would also develop their thinking skills and widen their senses as they age.

Keeping in touch gets whole lot easier with modern gadgets.

As the Minister of Multimedia & Communication, I would propose this few changes to improvise the country’s standard of communication and learning in terms of education. This is for a better nation, a better country!

  2. I AGREE.AWARENESS IS THE MAJOR PROBLEM FOR WHO MAY NOT FULLY EXPOSED TO 'IT' STUDIES.BUT INSTEAD OF LEARNING NEW THINGS IN MODERN TECHNOLOGIES LIKE iPaDs,NOW DAYS IT ALSO CAN BE BAD INFLUENCE TO PEOPLE ESPECIALLY CHILDREN.FOR AN EXAMPLE, FACEBOOK,YOUTUBE AND SO ON.THIS MAY CAUSE THE CHILDREN TO GET LOW MARKS IN EXAMS.

That's why, students with this freedom, needs to be monitored and keep track of their Internet usage.
