Topic: Ministry of Tourism and Cultural

Having had an interesting past and being a part of the international spice route many hundreds of years ago, Malaysia has turned into a mosaic of cultures. Everything from its people to its architecture reflect a colourful heritage and an amalgamated culture. To understand Malaysian culture, you must first get to know its people. Malay,Chinese, Indian and many other ethnic have lived together in Malaysia for generations. All these cultures have influenced each other creating a truly Malaysian culture.
Have you all heard about the 'Visit Malaysia Year 2014'? A promotion campaign for the ' Visit Malaysia Year 2014 ' officially launched by Prime Minister Dato' Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak on 10 January 2013. The ' Visit Malaysia Year 2014 ' is excepted to attract a new record of 28 million international tourists arrivals and RM 76 Billion in tourist receipts next year, said Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to New Strait Times on 21 October 2013.

As the Ministry Of Tourism and Cultural, I would like to promote the ' Visit Malaysia Year 2014 ' by arts and performances.
Citrawarna act as a medium to attract tourist to Malaysia. Citrawarna also known as Colours of Malaysia will be celebrated on the month of May every year at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur. This is the perfect time to showcase the best of what Malaysia has to offer and prove the colours and cultures to the world. Citrawarna was organised for the very first time in 1999 to reflect the rich cultures that Malaysia represents, the event has since spread awareness of Malaysia's artistic, geological and cultural gems to many parts of the world.

This event is celebrated to unite various states of the nation in one single place to portray their culture and lifestyle. The tourist can use this opportunity to see shows presented by different ethnics races of this multicultural country. During this festival there will be traditional dances, parades, exhibitions, traditional costumes and jewellery and many more events that will bring together all the different races in Malaysia. Each ethnic Malaysian community will showcase their traditional and customary individuality in costumes, head gears, traditional dances and music, art and craft work and also traditional cuisine and delicacies.
Depicted as a ' Premier cultural extravaganza ' by Ministry of Tourism and Tourism Malaysia, the festive brings in joy in every Malaysian's soul as one can see all the arts and dance performances of the country under one roof. There are visitors from other continents as well to enjoy these shows and to learn about Malaysia in one happening night.
Tourist will come to Malaysia with wide-opened eyes and mind as this is a land of festival where they can treat their visions as well as inhale the gala air every moment and every minutes.

As the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural I will like to continue this event in a even bigger scale. Our ministry will also contribute some sum of money and will keep an eye on this even to make it a successful event every year as well as to attract more local and international tourist. I believe through this I can make Malaysia  a better place to live for Malaysians. This is because as a Malaysian we should know about the other races tradition and culture. Through Citrawarna we can get to know about the other races and  ethnic living style and culture. This will create a peaceful and understanding surrounding for  we Malaysian to live in our home called Malaysia.

Human Trafficking:A SOCIAL ILL

By:Moganeswary A/P Renganathan

ID Number:2013-121820

Topic:Ministry of Defence

In this era of globalisation, human trafficking has become as one of the biggest crimes in the world. In Malaysia, the statistics of human trafficking cases investigated by law enforcement agencies from 2008 till March 27, 2012 is total of 439 cases and the total catch of 621.Human trafficking is a global crisis generally known as an illegal business deal of human beings for the intention of sexual exploitation, forced labor, also known as modern-day slavery and for the extraction of internal organs, tissues and ova.

The chief reason for the increasing crime rate of human trafficking in Malaysia is because it is a remunarative business and it is the fastest growing criminal enterprise in the world.Second factor is because of victims who is in the search for a better living from poverty, unemployment or from a political conflict country intend to migrate to another country may lead to the increase in human trafficking crime rate.Thirdly, the most targeted ones are the homeless individuals. This happens specially among young ladies who break away from their house without elders knowledge in a young age and finally become a roofless person. These girls has a greater chance or risk to be kidnapped by the traffickers and being exploited.

The victims who are effected by this dreadful network of human trafficking are largely from females and childrens. In this category, females are estimated approximately 800,000-900,000 living as modern-day slaves, and childrens are born for only a specific reason, that is to be sold.Men are targeted and trafficked to be mainly used in the form of forced labor. The worrisome part about the issue of human trafficking is women and children, especially young girls who are always being exploited sexually. This will lead to another big trouble and that is being infected with HIV disease. These victims of human trafficking also has to go through many sicknesses and diseases due to the lack of nutrients since they will not be given a proper diet. Moreover, the image of our country is severely discredited as our country not only known as a destination country but also has become a transit country for human trafficking crime activity. And according to the Immigration Department,Malaysia was once again for the fourth year in a row are placed in Tier Two Watch List (Tier 2, Watch List) by the U.S. Department of State (U.S.) in the report Trafficking in Persons (TIP) 2013 on this year.

Hence,as a Ministry of Defence,to prevent this issue of human trafficking in Malaysia which is getting serious day by day,I would like to suggest that law enforcement should be done by the country's security department as Police force, with the monitoring of Ministry of Defence as encountering the criminals by shooting in order so that the criminals will not dare enough to commit this kind of criminal act.Besides that, the Ministry of Defence should join up with General Operation Force(PGA) and Immigration Department of Malaysia and Navy Force,to keep observing the activities in areas like airports and harbors. It is because, the human trafficking criminals can do this crime at anytime and anywhere without no one realize about it. The criminals are very smart and cunning when doing their crime activities, thus for a better result, the security level has to be trained to a higher level and equip them with a new technology of weapons, and telecommunication equipment to make them easier to transfer data of the criminal and communication among them is easier and more efficient. Moreover, the ministry will conduct a campaign on Anti-Human Trafficking through whole Malaysia to raise our Malaysian awareness on this seriousness of this case which is increasing nationwide. This is to keep Malaysian to stay safe and careful wherever they go,to prevent themselves from being a victim of this human trafficking. The ministry believe that by accomplishing these ways to overcome human trafficking, the crime can be banished from our country. And,our Malaysia's peace and serenity can be affirmed and the country will be free from crime.

In conclusion, last but not least, the public's support is also strongly needed to fight against the human trafficking activity which is growing rapidly. In order to sustain the harmonious Malaysia and to maintain the peaceful living of Malaysian citizens, public's co-operation is needed, that is when they should inform Majlis Anti Pemerdagangan Orang Dan Penyeludupan Migran Malaysia through the hotline number:999 if there is any suspicious case happen on human trafficking. As the saying goes prevention is better than cure, each and everyone should be aware of this issue, so that you or your beloved will not become as one of the victim of this pitfall too.

EDUCATION FOR ALL ...(Free education in Malaysia)

By : Sugannia Devi d/o Subrahmaniam

Title : Ministry Education

Education in its general sense is a form of learning in which the knowledge, skills, and habits of a up of people are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching, training, or research. Education frequently takes place under the guidance of others, but may also be autodidactic. Any experience that has a formative effect on the way one thinks, feels, or acts may be considered educational. Knowledge that brings you respect and dignity. Knowledge needs to be free for all those who deserve it, and what a person deserves should be decided by an individual capability and intelligence and not by wealth.

Providing free education would enable students to concentrate on learning and gaining more through the education, instead of struggling with the payment of tuition fees and meeting other expenses. When the focus shifts to learning it leads to empowerment of the youth to work towards an increasingly intellectual society.

Free education would lead to more educated people. More educated people in the society leads to overall improvement in the quality of life in the society. Through better employment and elimination of the struggle for basic needs, people would concentrate on the higher aspects of life, such as improving administration and management of issues that impact the society in general. Therefore free education would have a very positive impact on the overall quality and thinking in the society better goverments.

More educated people would mean better governance from the grassroots to the national level. Educated people would make better choices in electing their representatives and are better equipped to question corruption and misuse of power. Therefore, education is not only the remedy for the ills of unequal wealth, but also the remedy for the ills that plague our administration and governments. By making education free, we prod our society towards the path of better governance.Intelligence and talent are not the forte of the wealthy alone. There is lot of untapped and undiscovered talent and intelligence lying covered under impoverishment and destitution. Free education opens the doors of opportunities to these talented people. Through free education, we can ensure that the talented and intelligent can gain the assurance of a better tomorrow through maximizing their academic potentials.

Free education would be beneficial to those who deserve it, as well as, to the society as a whole. Where everybody is talking about equal and better opportunities, the prospects of a better future should not be lost due to lack of equal opportunities for education

Ministry of Communication and Multimedia

                                                           CYBER CRIME

By Mohaan A/L Sockalingam
2012-122231
Topic : Minister of Communication and Multimedia

Dato' Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek is a Malaysian politician. He is the Minister of Communication and Multimedia in the Barisan National coalition government and sits in Parliament as themember for Kemaman, Terengganu. He represents the United Malays National Organization (UMNO).[1] He was elected to the Supreme Council of UMNO in 2009. to establish Malaysia as a major global center and hub for communications and multimedia information and content services Ministry of communication and multimedia has manage his responsibility very well by launching a new smart phone for its emergency service, aptly named  “SaveMe 999” , but unfortunately there a few issues which has not been solved yet. For example, Cybercrime is increasing yearly and it contributes negative impact in term of social and economic development.

Cybercrime are crime committed over the internet. The Encyclopedia Britannica defines cybercrime as any crime that is committed by means of special knowledge or expert use of computer technology. Cybercrime could include a variety of criminal offences and activities. Example activities that are considered Cybercrime are fraud, forgery, computer sabotage, unauthorized access and copying of computer programs. Malaysia was amongst the first few countries in the world to introduce cyber laws. An example of such cyber is the Computer Crimes Act 1997. This cyber law addresses and looks into areas of cybercrime activities.

Cybercrimes is defined as crimes committed on the internet using the computer either a tool or a targeted victim. Report made by authorities showed that our country involved in 2123 of cybercrime cases during 2008 which is more than 10 percent increase than 2007, but the analysis is only from complain they receive. Cybercrime is very hard to be detected because lack of technical expertise to deal with criminal activity. Second, once criminal activity has been detected many businessman are reluctant to lodge a report because they afraid of publicity.

There are 3 major categories of cybercrime which are crimes against the person, property and the government. The first category of cybercrime is against the person. Cybercrime against the person includes harassment through email or cyber stalking.Harrasment can also be included sexual, racial, religious, or others. This crime usually happens to woman’s and teenagers.Second category of crime is property. Cybercrime property is where cybercriminal can take the contents of individual’s bank account. The most famous method of getting people bank account is the money transfer email scam. Besides that, People receive emails requesting help with transferring funds from another country. Hacking into company website and stealing information is also another way of cybercrime property.

The last category is government. Cyber terrorism is the most serious type of crime in this category. Hacking into a government website, particularly military website is one of the most serious terrorism. The example of cybercrime is web jacking. By web jacking hackers gain access and control over the website of another, even they change content of website for fulfilling political objective or for money. The communication and multimedia team of Malaysia should start realizing that cybercrime is also  a big and serious issue. The leaders should not just make empty promises and then conveniently forget them.

STOP GREENHOUSE POLLUTION !

By Kishaliniy Periasamy
2013-121789
Topic: Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment

Green house gas is a gas in atmosphere that absorbs and emits radiation within the thermal infrared range. This process is the fundamental cause of the green house effect. Water vapour, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone are the main greenhouse gases in our Earth’s atmosphere. United Nations data shows that Malaysia’s carbon emissions in 2006 is at 187 million tonnes or 7.2 tonnes from each Malaysians. The figure below shows how greenhouse effect occurs.

The main causes of greenhouse effects are burning of fossil fuels which leads to release of higher concentrations of carbon dioxide. Other than burning of fossil fuels, using of fertilizers in agricultural activities leads to higher nitrous oxide concentrations. Chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’s) used  in refrigeration system and sprays. When CFC’s are released into the air, they get to one of the layers  atmosphere around the earth and create a hole in the ozone layer which allows ultraviolet radiation.

As Ministry Of Natural Resources and Environment, I would like to suggest some solutions to this problem as this problem may bring a bad effect to our country. First of all, buy energy saving appliances. This will require less energy and less fossil fuels being burned. Other than that, reduce the use of electricity. Turn off lights and other energy sources when they are not being used.

On the other hand, start to plant trees. During photosynthesis, plants will absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen. This can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide on earth. A single tree will absorb approximately one ton of carbon dioxide during it's lifetime. Moreover, using less hot water can reduce the release of carbon dioxide which is about 350 pounds. Food wastage also one of the main cause of greenhouse gas release.

Recently, according to our Prime Minister, "today the country was on track to meet it's pledge of reducing it's greenhouse gas emission by 40% by 2020." Hence, let's work on together to save our mother earth from being polluted.

This oil spill issue had brought a very serius impact on the environment in manys different aspects.Firstly, the water is polluted as it has contaminated with oil which causes water shortage in many important places.Secondly, the aquatic animals life are endangered. Moreover, the contaminated water causes health issues.

The company have been sealed and it clearly shows that our government is concerned about the issues and many other quick fix had been done in order to improvise the condition.More campaigns should be organised to create awareness among society. Containment booms should be used in order  to control the spread of oil to reduce the possibility of polluting shorelines and other resources. This can also be used to concentrate oil in thicker surface layers. Thus, recovery will be easier. In addition, booms may be used to divert and channel oil slicks along desired paths, making them easier to remove from the surface of the water.

Besides that,iIncrease coverage of electricity supply for rural areas in Sabah to 81%, and in Sarawak to 90%, by year 2012.this kind of improvement that government has imply should be carried on and be supported for a better wellbeing for the country.

Moral or knowledge

Moral or study

By Loo Szi Ming

Topic : Ministry of education

Malaysians in this century are too concerned on results and strict measures of success using revered but feared grading system.  Teachers and parents always hope the children get good results. Teaching has been teacher-centred and not learner-centred. The role of a teacher now is to “tell” the students sets of information. This causes those children to only focus on results but miss out on their morality!

“ Even successful straight – A students can be failures of the education system in their own definitions.” Wrote by Hasrizal Jamil in a forum entitled Pedagogi Pendidikan Berasaskan Cinta hosted by Teach for The Needs Education is not to re-humanize humans from becoming robots that create academic and economic goals without souls, lack of empathy and ability to appreciate humanity in general. There is no true heart in children when being friend with other. Friends are to play with at break time, but competition at class time. The teacher-student relationship is dichotomous, instead of a single unit together in the search for education. Since school, children are taught to compete and enter the top classroom.

As a result, they only fight for A’s but they are emotionally empty. They compete unhealthily through school and into their future: carrying the notion that winning is to always put oneself ahead of another. This may cause them cannot stand and control themselves when they “loss”.

Therefore, teachers should patient and organized. Take an interest in every child. The better a teacher get to know their students, the more influence will have their attitude towards the subject, and their lives in general. Remember the adage: “ Teachers touch eternity, they never know where their influence may end”

Topic : Ministry of Transport

This system is monitored by Malaysian government to make sure that now days driver will be more cautious when they are driving in the rood .This plan is have been successful applied all over the country by step by under act of plan Keselamatan Jalan Raya 2006 - 2010.

This system is one of the reason that now days drivers is driving according to rules and regulation because if the drivers do violate regulations , this system will capture and send a writ of summons to the victim through post .According to the data the number value of accident in few particular area which is inculcate with AES

Meanwhile ,this system is used in traffic light which has helped the police department to solve few cases such as robbery and others with proves. The main function of AES is to capture the drivers that do not follow the rules and regulation such as over speed limit and pass trough red light .Other than that, the compund  letter to the victim through post. This system gives a accurate details which that the victim can't deny the fault on them and this system will be operating for 24 hour.

In future our country can be able to AES for all kind of purpose such as drivers that crossing the double line, cutting in the left side of road, bringing over load in lorries, restrictions on heavy vehicles entering the city center, enforcement of bus routes
Hope this system will ensure that the reduce of number of accident in our country as other country which have used this same system in their country and prevent that the number of accident in their country have less down.In other hand we as a malayisan drivers have to obey the rules and regulation that have been fixed for us while driving in the road.

Ministry Of Work By Sithi Rao... :)

Topic: Ministry Of Work

Ministry of works commonly known as the Kementerian Kerja Raya (KKR) Malaysia in Malay term.Established in 1956 as the Ministry of Works, Post and Telecom. In 1975, the Ministry was restructured and renamed the Ministry of Works and Transportation. The rapid growth and socio-economic development of the country in the 1970s has added to the responsibilities of the Ministry. Thus, the Ministry was again renamed the Ministry of Works and Public in 1978. In accordance with its specialized responsibilities in the 1980s, the Government renamed the Ministry to the Ministry of Works. The Ministry's objective is to develop and enhance a high quality infrastructure system, the construction industry and services.Today i'll be focusing main on Architecture.

Well as many of us can see, Malaysia is coming up in the Architectural field. But most of them cant see there are places which has been let out by the government. Places like Kedah,Sabah, kelantan is not fully developed. Most of the places i just mentioned is still tradisionalised. No improvement at all. its really sad to see this. We're living in the 20;s and no more in the 80's. It's not fair to see some of them living happily in the same state but different area. Is this all necessary?

The main reason for this problem is, Government is only thinking about tourism and the income from there. They over think about the income and they think less bout the citizens. The action im going to take as the minister of work is, i'm going to spend the money wisely on the states in Malaysia which have not fully developed. I would link up with my architecture agency and start on the project real soon. It'll not only bring satisfaction to me,the residents would be double the happy when they see a whole new modernized area surrounding them. That's it from me today. you'll see the changes real soon.Thank You everyone.
